How We Began

As a mother of four children and grandmother of eight, I have many years experience in hunting down toys. Like many parents, I used to think that the only way to get good quality playhouses, gyms and ride-on toys was to buy them new from a department or toy store, or order them from the dealer and pay exorbitant shipping rates. In order to save money, I tried for several years to find these types of toys at garage sales and resale shops. After many unsuccessful attempts to find these toys in good condition, I knew that other parents must be feeling the same frustration that I was. There was a definite need for a resale service that specialized in these larger hard-to-find toys! So in 1995, I began Toys For Your Little Tykes as an affordable way for parents and grandparents to provide their kids with fun, good quality play items.

At first, I sold toys that my youngest child, and grandchildren had outgrown. Then my customers began reselling toys their children no longer used to me or trading them in for credit towards new items. This ensured that I always had a large, constantly changing selection of great-quality toys to fit almost any need or age group. Over the years, I've expanded to provide this resale service to churches and day-cares, along with individual and family sales.

Toys For Your Lil' Tykes carries both indoor and outdoor toys, large and small, ride-on toys and even furniture! We provide major brands such as Lil' Tikes, Fisher-Price and Power Wheels, as well smaller brand names. Our inventory consists of current toys, hard-to-find items and popular vintage classics. We strive to offer great-quality, clean items and try to make them as complete and like-new as possible (and even add extra accessories to some items) to ensure hours of fun, quality play for your child.
